The cable car departs every 10 – 15 min (first car from 08h00 – last car goes up at 17h00 & comes down at 18h00). This attraction is weather dependant and so we do not recommend that you book in advance. Rather find out by reception on the day.

Robben Island is infamous as the island that was used for the imprisonment of mainly political prisoners. The former President of South Africa, Mr. Nelson Mandela spent 27 years imprisoned here during the apartheid era struggle.
